
The structure of Chelmsford Garden Community Council
Chelmsford Garden Community Council is a new Parish Council set up on 1st April 2023. As it is covering a wide area, including Channels, the ongoing development in new Beaulieu, Old Beaulieu and the new Chelmsford Garden Community, it has been set up with four distinct wards.
The Council has 13 Councillors, all of whom represent particular wards as explained below

The North Ward
The North Ward sits within the Broomfield & The Walthams Chelmsford City Council Ward and the Parliamentary Constituency of Saffron Walden.

The East Ward
Chelmsford Garden Community Council East Ward sits within the Boreham & The Leighs Chelmsford City Council Ward and the Parliamentary Constituency of Saffron Walden. It was formerly known as the North East ward but the legal order setting up the Council clarified that it is to be known as the East ward.
