Defibrillator at Beaulieu Boulevard

Chelmsford Garden Community Council is aware of how important defibrillators are and the importance of the devices being available 24/7.  The Council has therefore purchased a new defibrillator which was unveiled in December 2024 and is sited within a cabinet at Beaulieu Boulevard next to the Council’s noticeboard.

The device is only accessible to residents via a 999 call where the operator can provide a code to open the cabinet and enable the device to be used.

There are a number of other defibrillators within our Parish, however only one other device is available to the general public 24/7 which is the one sited at Channels Park.

You can find other defibrillators on the The National Defibrillator data base

The Council is now considering other locations for defibrillators within the Parish which can be made available 24/7 and more information will follow.

Also the Council is in the process of organising First Aid and Cardiac awareness classes for our residents.  Do visit this page again soon for more information.  Also, if you would like to help by volunteering to be part of the inspection rota for the defibrillator at Beaulieu Boulevard please feel free to contact the Executive Officer at [email protected]
