Community Safety Event

Chelmsford Garden Community Council is committed to supporting the Community to address issues of crime and anti-social behaviour.

As well as regularly liaising with the Police, the Council has regularly organised Community Safety events.

There have been 2 bike marking and Community Safety events over the last year held at the Beaulieu Community Centre where residents have been able to  speak to a Police officer and obtain useful advice and equipment such as faraday cases to protect electronic car keys from being misused.

Also in August 2024 an event was held at the Channels estate where residents were able to have their bikes marked and registered as well as obtaining information and advice from Police officers and representatives from Chelmsford City Council Community Safety team.

Councillors were also in attendance – as you can see Councillor Dan Jeffreys had his bike marked!

Future events will be organised and will be publicised on this website

If you are looking to report a crime please take a look at the ‘report it to the Police’ page on this website for more information
